Tributes have been paid to "an amazing woman" who died after she was attacked by a dog at a property in Coventry on Monday.

Named locally as Kelly Reilly, her family described her on social media as an "angel" who would be "loved forever".

Emergency crews found Ms Reilly in a critical condition inside the property on Wexford Road before she died at the scene.

"You've left a massive hole in everyone's hearts, most beautiful soul," one Facebook user said.

Another post said: "How have u gone I will never be able to get my head around it. Rest in eternal paradise Kelly."

A further user added that Ms Reilly was an "amazing, strong woman" who would be "sadly missed by all".

West Midlands Police said that the dog - a pet - had been seized but its breed was yet to be confirmed.

Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and two air ambulances were sent to the scene on Monday.
