Belfast Zoo to reopen as water supply restored

The zoo was closed for two days for essential maintenance works

Belfast Zoo will reopen on Tuesday after an issue with its water supply was resolved.
The zoo temporarily closed its doors on Sunday and Monday to carry out "essential maintenance" works.
It previously confirmed that a team would remain on-site as normal to ensure all animals continue to receive the "highest standard of care and have everything they need".
It follows the zoo previously being closed due to an E.coli outbreak last month.
Apology
The zoo's summer scheme for children will also resume on Tuesday after being briefly halted due to the repair work.
Belfast Zoo apologised for any inconvenience caused for those with pre-booked tickets and advised them to contact them for a refund or to reschedule their tickets.
