Two people were taken to hospital after a vehicle crashed into a car wash at a motorway services.

It happened at about 09:50 on Friday at a Shell petrol station at the Peterborough Services at junction 17 of the A1(M).

As well as Cambridgeshire Police, two ambulances, a paramedic car and an air ambulance went to the scene.

The East of England Ambulance Service said a man and a woman were receiving further assessment and care at Peterborough Hospital.
