Several coaches have been vandalised in a vehicle compound in Guernsey costing thousands of pounds worth of damage.

The coaches were vandalised in the industrial estate on Pitronnerie Road on Tuesday.

Sean Harvey, who owns several of the vehicles, said in total 14 coaches had been damaged.

He estimated the cost to repair his vehicles would be about £20,000 and they would "be out of action for weeks".

Guernsey Police is appealing for information and doorbell or CCTV footage which contains a group of young people seen in the area at about 21:00 BST.
