A man has been injured after his car fell over a cliff in Guernsey.

Emergency services freed the man from his Smart car, which fell from the main car park at Jerbourg at about 09:30 BST, said Guernsey Police.

The force said his initial injuries were treated before being taken by ambulance to hospital, where he is believed not to be in a life-threatening condition.

The car will "remain in situ for now" after a crane operator had difficulty recovering it, said police.
