Swans block Devon rail line
- Published
Rail services were cancelled earlier after swans got on to the tracks, Great Western Railway (GWR) has said.
The train operator said the birds were on the tracks near Topsham, in Devon, and blocked lines between Exeter St Davids and Exmouth.
It added services between these stations had been cancelled on Thursday morning as it had proved "difficult" to move the birds.
GWR apologised for the disruption.
