A street in a Cornish village has put on a festive light display on every single home in a special effort to raise money for charity.

The 18 properties in Stuarts Way in the village of Hatt, near St Mellion, attract visitors from far and wide each year.

The road's residents are inviting visitors to use the QR codes on lamp posts to make a donation to Cancer Research UK.

Resident Becks Escot told BBC Radio Cornwall: "Over the years it's grown and grown and grown."

She added: "We go to town on it... It really does look so pretty".

Danny Kelly, who also lives on Stuarts Way, said: "We've embraced it fully.

"I've lived here for 25 years so as people started to move into the road we all got together and decided it would be a good thing to do for charity."

Jeanette Taylor said: "It just gets bigger every year and we've become famous."
