The family of a 14-year old boy killed in a car crash have paid tribute to their "beautiful" son.

Ellis Lockley died when the Vauxhall Corsa he was a passenger in crashed on Tarn Lane, near Keighley, on Sunday. Three other people were also injured.

West Yorkshire Police said the 21-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and later released on bail.

Ellis' family said in a statement that his death had left "a massive hole in our hearts".

It added: “We as a family are totally devastated at the loss of our beautiful boy Ellis. We have received so much love and support from the community, he is so loved by everyone who knew him.

“Whilst we appreciate people will want to pay tribute to our little joy Ellis, we hope that they do this with respect.”

Police have appealed for anyone who saw the silver Corsa - or who may have seen an Audi and a Toyota Yaris in the area, known locally as the "Yorkshire Bumps" - between 13:30 and 14:30 BST.
