Four arrested after reports of shots fired

Four people have been arrested following reports that shots were fired at a building in Bradford.
Police were called to Great Horton Road at about 19:10 BST on Wednesday to reports of a firearms discharge.
Officers, helped by the police helicopter, searched the area and four males were arrested nearby.
The group of two 17-year-olds, a man aged 18 and one aged 20, were arrested on suspicion of offences including possession of Class A and B drugs with intent to supply and possession of an offensive weapon.
No injuries were reported and an investigation is ongoing, police said.
Witness appeal
Det Insp Helen Chapman, of Bradford District CID, said: “In this instance there is no suggestion that any firearms have been directed at others, but we know that any use of weapons will cause some concern in the wider community.
“We have four people in custody, and they will be interviewed in due course.
“Local residents can expect to see an increased police presence in the area while we conduct enquiries into this incident.”
Anyone who witnessed any of the incident or saw anyone behaving suspiciously in the area is asked to contact police in Bradford.
