A man in his 20s died in a car crash which saw his vehicle catch fire, police said.
Officers were called to the A41 in Weston Heath, Shropshire, at about 20:20 BST on Tuesday.
Officers said they found two cars that had crashed outside Bloomsbury Nursery garden centre, one of which was on fire.
The man who died at the scene was in that vehicle, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.
A second man, from the other car, was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford for injuries which were not thought to be serious, the service added.
Part of the A41 through Weston Heath remained closed on Wednesday morning.
