Ex-Traitor Charlie says third season is more 'savage'
- Published
Former Traitors contestant Charlie Bees says the new season of the game show is "more savage" than the previous.
Ms Bees, from Kingswood in South Gloucestershire, told BBC Points West said she enjoyed being on the show so much, she would "totally do it again" if she could.
She was one of 22 contestants on season two of the BBC series and was unexpectedly removed in episode nine.
"It was sad, but I had so much fun playing it. I had the best of times. I would totally do it again," she said.
Ms Bees said she "can't get enough" of the new season, which returned on New Years' Day.
"I think it's a little bit more savage than our season," she said.
"[The contestants] are really going for it and almost playing a little more independently than as a team."
The show, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, is based on the party game wink murder where players must uncover the killers before time runs out.
The Traitors sees 22 members of the public housed for three weeks in Ardross Castle, near Inverness. A few of them are told privately that they are traitors, and must avoid being detected by their fellow contestants, who are known as the faithful.
The contestants gradually get to know each other via conversations over breakfast and a series of physical challenges, which also give them the opportunity to add to the prize pot of up to £120,000.
"This season they've [gone for] people that are a little bit more confident," said Ms Bees.
"Claudia is very naughty - she will always try to put a spin on something!"
