A special netball tournament will be held for a player who has stage four colon cancer.
The Jersey Netball Association (JNA) has set up the event at Les Ormes on Tuesday 17 December to raise money for Jersey Cancer Relief and Friends of Oncology Jersey (FOJO).
Both have supported Sammy Kean after she was diagnosed on Christmas Eve two years ago.
The 31-year-old has two children and thanked the JNA for its support.

Sammy is going through treatment for her cancer
Ms Kean was taken to hospital when her bowel perforated and she had emergency surgery to get a stoma bag before she was diagnosed with the disease.
She said "I'm taking it one day at a time... I feel very fortunate that I'm still able to do the things I love like netball.
"I do intend to do more fundraising events for other charities that have helped me and test my limit within reason because I am still going through treatment."
She is due to be playing in the tournament along with other players.

Kayla Waddle has signed up to the tournament
Kayla Waddle is one of the players who has signed up to the tournament and she said she hoped more people would join her.
She said: "I just think it's such an important cause... It's to support someone who is so well loved in the netball community."
Ms Waddle heard about Ms Kean's story through the JNA and said she wanted to do something to help.
She added: "I think the tournament is going to be such a lovely day and be an absolute laugh with everyone."
Sammy Kean spoke about the efforts to fundraise for the charities that supported her
