Fire crews warned residents living in an area of Coventry to keep doors and windows shut on Thursday morning following a gas leak.

West Midlands Fire Service worked with gas engineers to deal with the incident on Dartmouth Road in Wyken.

They identified the source of the leak, which was successfully isolated shortly after midday.

The fire service confirmed the incident had concluded about 12:20 BST, external and advised no further precautions were needed.
