Two more men charged after murder of teenager

Two more men have been charged in connection with the murder of a 19-year-old, police have said.

Ben Procter was found collapsed with a serious head injury in Wellington Street, Peterborough, on 15 September. He died a day later.

A 47-year-old man and a 39-year-old man, both of Lincoln Road, Peterborough, have been charged with perverting the course of justice. They are due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.

It comes after Cambridgeshire Police charged Ako Mohammed, 33, of Lincoln Road, Peterborough, and Shwan Sabah, 23, of, Holdich Street, Peterborough, with Mr Procter's murder. They are due to stand trial in April next year.

Three other men who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have been released on bail until December 22, police said.
