Dispersal order after youths throw fireworks
- Published
A dispersal order has been put in place to try to deter youths from throwing fireworks.
Cleveland Police said it had received reports of large numbers of teenagers gathering in the Bishop Cuthbert area of Hartlepool, Teesside, on Thursday.
The 48-hour order, which is in place until Saturday evening, covers that area of the town and parts of the A179.
The dispersal order gives police extra powers to be able to tell people to leave certain areas or risk being arrested.
