A pub in a Derbyshire village could be demolished to make way for a drive-through cafe if an application is approved.

The Three Horseshoes, on High Street in Brimington, would be replaced by a single-storey building under the plans, which have been submitted to Chesterfield Borough Council.

According to the applicant, Brimington Property Ltd, the move would provide up to 15 jobs.

The application also seeks permission to move a nearby traffic light to provide a clearer view of the road and proposes a car park with room for five vehicles and six short-stay cycle spaces.
