Teenager dead and another in hospital in A25 crash

An 18-year-old man has died and another is in a serious condition following a crash in Surrey.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the single-vehicle crash which happened at 23:20 BST on the A25 Woodbridge Road, Guildford on Thursday.

South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and one of the teenagers was pronounced dead at the scene and the second was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

While the road had been closed between the junction with Walnut Tree Close and the Dennis roundabout, Surrey Police said it had since reopened.
