Parts of A26 face overnight closures for resurfacing

Drivers using a stretch of the A26 in East Sussex can expect delays to allow for a series of closures for resurfacing works.

National Highways said the first phase involves the route being closed in both directions between South Heighton and Newhaven from 5 August for five nights

The route between Tarring Neville and South Heighton will then be closed for five nights from 12 August.

Finally, the A26 at Tarring Neville will be closed for four nights from 27 August and for five nights from 9 September.

Diversions, external will be in place for drivers during each phase of the works, National Highways said.
