Man suffers serious injuries during assault

A man has been seriously injured in an assault, Surrey Police say.
Officers were called to a property in Barnett Close, Leatherhead, at 04:10 BST on Sunday.
The victim, who is in his 40s, was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.
A 35-year-old man from Leatherhead has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
Det Sgt Helen Cooper said: "We want to reassure residents we believe this to be an isolated incident, and we’re asking anyone with information that could help us, including CCTV or dashcam footage in the area between 03:00 and 04.10 to please contact us.
"As part of our investigation, we are conducting enquiries at a second address on Randalls Park Avenue."
