Three more lions will be added to a mural if England triumph against the Netherlands on Sunday.

The outside wall of Kate Williams's property in Nuneaton already depicts Gareth Southgate, Harry Kane and Raheem Stirling in an image created for the Euro 2020 finals.

The late Queen Elizabeth II, World Cup winner Bobby Moore and England women's Euros captain Leah Williamson were added in 2022.

"Three more lions on the wall is what we're hoping for," Ms Williams said. "I'm really keen to hear what people's thoughts are on who to add."

The homeowner said people had visited to take photos daily since the wall was originally painted.

Her husband's idea, the couple reached out to James Bennett, director of the Reel People, and local street artist Nathan Parker (N4T4) to first create it.

"Together we created something that was just out of this world," Ms Williams said.

The mural has left a lasting legacy in the town, raising more than £10,000 to fund eight defibrillators.

Funds raised also went towards an arts festival, and when Leah Williamson and Bobby Moore were added, kits for the town's girls' teams.

If England make the final Ms Williams intends proceeds from the updated artwork to go towards an anti-knife crime campaign.

"We've created a campaign called Kick the Knife," she said. "We'd really like to raise some awareness, maybe host some events, and buy some unwanted but much needed bleed kits."

The family will watch tonight's game at home and backed an England win, no matter how ugly.

"If we get the win then the win's good enough for us," she said.
