Three arrested after police pursuit

The suspects tried to flee but were later arrested

Three people have been arrested after an early morning police chase.
Police said a silver Kia Picanto, which had previously been reported stolen, failed to stop for officers in Manvers Way, Wath upon Dearne, at 03:46 GMT on Wednesday.
Officers pursued the car before it stopped in Doncaster Road, Mexborough, with the occupants of the vehicle fleeing the scene.
Two men, aged 21 and 19, and a 16-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of burglary, a South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said. The 16-year-old and the 19-year-old were also arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
