A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with two rapes at the weekend

A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with two rapes.
Sometime after 23:00 BST on Saturday, a woman was raped in an alleyway in Yarm Road, near to the junction with Oxbridge Lane, Stockton-on-Tees, Cleveland Police said.
At about 00.30 on Sunday a second woman was raped at the same location, the force added.
The man who has been arrested remains in police custody.
Det Insp Matt Hollingsworth previously said police had increased patrols in the area to "provide reassurance".
