A man has been arrested on suspicion of affray after another man was found injured in Nottinghamshire.
Police said officers were called to Queens Road, in Beeston, at about 18:30 BST on Tuesday after reports a man had been assaulted.
Nottinghamshire Police found a man in his 30s with a "small puncture wound" to his chest. He was taken to hospital and later discharged.
The arrested man, 31, remains in custody, the force added.
Police said the attack took place near the junction with Alexandra Crescent, "with a number of individuals present".
Inquiries to trace other individuals involved are ongoing, but the force believes it was an "isolated incident", with no-one else injured.
