Man arrested after Belfast stabbing

A 35-year-old man has been arrested after a stabbing in Belfast on Wednesday evening.

It happened on Donegall Street.

Police received a report at 19:15 BST of a man being stabbed.

The 35-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.

He remains in police custody.

Police have asked anyone with any information to contact them.
