A boy who was sent a "very cool" guitar by Ed Sheeran has promised it will inspire him to learn how to play.
Jakob Wojcik, 13, from Northampton, was surprised by the Suffolk superstar after appearing on Gaby Roslin's Make A Difference Show with his brother Michal.
Michal,15, was recognised as a Young Hero in the BBC awards for the help and support he gives Jakob, who has cystic fibrosis and type 1 diabetes.
Sheeran said he would send Jakob a guitar provided he put in the practice, telling him: "You gotta play it though, you gotta play it."

Jakob said he had been pestering his parents for days to know if the instrument had turned up.
"Then one day, I forgot to ask and halfway through the drive home, my mum said, 'Oh yeah the guitar has arrived'," he said.
"When we went home I immediately went to the box and unboxed it with my brother and it's such a beautiful piece, wooden, incredibly light and it's just so cool."

The guitar is signed with a reminder from Sheeran that it needs to be played
Sheeran promised to send the instrument after hearing that Jakob used to play the guitar, ukulele and recorder.
Jakob said: "[Music] is definitely something I want to pursue, but not necessarily something we have the time for because we have all the medical conditions to manage, as well as quite a successful sporting life - but I finally have the time.
"I definitely want to learn an Ed Sheeran song, that's my main focus, and the choice is between the two simplest - The Shape of You and Bad Habits."
Michal said the arrival of the guitar was "absolutely mind-blowing".
He added he would "be the messenger for Ed Sheeran" and remind his brother he had to "play it or he'll have to give it back".

The 15-year-old was nominated for the BBC award by his mother, Beata, for "his kindness, resilience, and dedication" to Jakob.
The Make A Difference Awards celebrate those who make life better for others in their communities.
Michal recently joined the youth advisory group for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, has been appointed as a youth councillor for Northamptonshire Youth Council, and is part of his school's and the Northamptonshire county water polo team.
Above all, he said he wanted to make the "world better for [Jakob], make him equal with the other kids to do what he wants to do and not be limited".
Sheeran told Michal what he did for his little brother was "amazing".
