Three boys were arrested following a series of moped and bicycle thefts.
Gloucestershire Police were called around 03:00 BST on Friday morning with reports of a group acting "suspiciously" and pushing a moped down the road in St Marks, Cheltenham.
At around 04:50, another call came in reporting that a similar group attempted to steal a bicycle from the High Street.
Two 12-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of theft of mopeds, attempted theft of bicycles and criminal damage.
The boys remain in police custody at this time while enquiries continue.
Officers have identified the owner of the seized moped and are now working to identify the rightful owners of the bicycles seized during the arrests.
