A man has been charged with the murder of a man who suffered fatal injuries when he was attacked with a knife at a home in Birmingham.

Hazratgul Ahmadzai, aged 42, was found by police at the address in Alum Rock Road on Friday.

Asad Khan, 24, of no fixed address, was arrested in Dorset on Sunday, charged on Monday night and is due to appear before city magistrates on Tuesday.

The family of Mr Ahmadzai said: "He was a very kind man, everyone loved him and will miss him. He was well respected and well thought of. He did not deserve this terrible thing to happen to him. We will miss him every day."
