Four people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Birmingham, after reports of a shooting.

West Midlands Police said it was called to Woodnorton Drive just after 23:35 BST on Wednesday.

Three men, aged 35, 42 and 62, and a 50 year-old woman were arrested and remain in police custody.

A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

The scene has been cordoned off, with a forensic team collecting evidence.

Anyone with information about the incident has been asked to call 101.
