A man from Spalding, Lincolnshire, has denied committing historic sex offences against two children.

Mark Street, 50, of Akita Close, pleaded not guilty to eight charges at Lincoln Crown Court on Wednesday.

The charges included five of indecent assault relating to a girl under the age of 16 and sexual assault on a child under the age of 13.

A trial, expected to last five days, is due to start on 23 June at the same court.

Mr Street also pleaded not guilty to a single charge of exposure and one offence of voyeurism, alleged to have happened between August 2007 and August 2008.

The offences relating to a girl under the age of 16 are alleged to have taken place between August 1998 and August 2001.

The charge of sexual assault on a child under the age of 13 is alleged to have happened between August 2016 and August 2019.

Mr Street was granted bail on condition he must not contact children under the age of 18, not contact the complainants, and not attend locations where they may be known to be.
