Man seriously injured during flat burglary

A man suffered multiple injuries after being attacked by a group of burglars who broke into his flat, police said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to Wolsdon Street in Plymouth at about 22:40 BST on 7 October after three or four men wearing masks and hoodies forced their way in.
The force said the victim, a man in his 20s, suffered a shoulder injury and serious facial injuries after being punched repeatedly during the incident.
Police said cash and a pair of purple Nike TN Fireberry trainers worth about £100 were stolen.
Witnesses have been asked to contact the force or Crimestoppers.
A police spokesperson said officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who might have video footage of the suspects.
"It is believed they walked along Anstis Street prior to the attack and fled in the same direction," the spokesperson said.
