Murder inquiry after teenage motorcyclist dies

A driver has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a teenage motorcyclist died following a crash.

The crash happened outside the Liquid Leisure Centre on the Horton Road in Datchet, Berkshire, at about 16:00 BST on Saturday.

Officers found a motorcycle that had left the road and two boys, aged 16 and both from Slough, seriously injured. One of them has since died in hospital.

A 56-year-old man from Datchet, initially arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, has subsequently been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, Thames Valley Police said.

Det Insp Stuart May said that reports from the crash had initially been "unclear".

But after inquires, "it was established that a car may have been involved".

He appealed to anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact the force.
