Four people charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man found eight days after his death have appeared at Norwich Crown Court.
Kalvin Taylor, 19, was stabbed in a flat on Lefroy Road, in Mile Cross, Norwich. His body was discovered by police on 21 September.
Leon Bangura, 20, from London,;Adam Dugdale, 55, and Carrie-Ann Hall, 51, both from Norwich, have been charged with murder and Matthew Holmes, 51, from also from Norwich, has been charged with assisting an offender.
All of the defendants confirmed their identities, but none entered a plea. A trial date has been set for 28 April.
Chris Youell, prosecuting, set out the need for a trial over the death of Mr Taylor and added: "The background appears to be drugs."
Mr Youell compared the case to the trial of the murder of Joe Dix - who was killed in a drug-related stabbing in January 2022. He suggested the court allocates three to four weeks for the trial.
Mr Holmes was granted bail with conditions which included living at an address in Bowthorpe, Norwich, and abiding by a curfew.
The other three defendants made no applications for bail, and each was remanded into custody at an earlier hearing.
