Ballymena explosion cause under investigation

Police officers remain at the scene of the explosion

Police are investigating an explosion which occurred at a block of flats in Ballymena.
The incident happened in Orkney Drive, Ballykeel.
It was reported to police before 22:00 BST on Tuesday.
Those living in the building were evacuated as firefighters tackled the blaze which broke out on the ground floor.
Police said a considerable amount of damage was caused to one flat.
Two fire appliances attended the incident which was dealt with by 00:39 BST on Wednesday.
No injuries were reported.
Emergency services said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
