Three terraced homes could be built on the site of a warehouse destroyed by fire.

More then 30 firefighters tackled the blaze at the Europe Cash & Carry on Padholme Road, Peterborough, in December 2023.

A planning application submitted to the city council stated the land is "falling into a poor state of repair" and would benefit from investment and development.

The terrace would meet a need for "less expensive, sustainable homes with easy access, close to Peterborough city centre," it added.
