A man is in hospital after he was assaulted by a group of four to five men.

The man, who is in his 20s, was attacked outside the Istanbul restaurant on Worcester Road in Bromsgrove at about 03:50 BST.

West Mercia Police released a CCTV image of two men they thought could help with inquiries, adding it was believed they were in the area at the time of the attack.

Officers would also like to speak to a third man, who they think may have also been injured during the assault.

The man in his 20s who was attacked suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he is in a stable condition.

Det Con Thomas Stevenson said the force was keen to identify the men pictured, as well as the other man who may have suffered injuries, and they may "hold vital information that can help with our investigation".

He added: "If you recognise, or know these men, please contact police immediately."
