An incident involving alleged racist behaviour at a football match in Devon are being investigated by police, officers have confirmed.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the incident happened at Plymouth Argyle's Home Park ground during the game between Argyle and Queens Park Rangers on 18 January, with a QPR fan being the victim of the alleged behaviour.

Plymouth Argyle condemned the incident and said they "moved quickly" to identify the individual.

Police added inquiries were ongoing.
