Search for dog owner after chicken found dead

Police want to hear from the owner of a whippet, seen carrying a dead chicken in its mouth

One chicken has been found dead and another is missing, following reports of a dog seen carrying a chicken in its mouth.
Sark Police are investigating after a person discovered "feathers everywhere" and a bird missing on Tuesday.
The force said a dog was seen at the Eperquerie carrying a dead chicken. The dog, believed to be from outside the area, was described as a red brindle whippet with white markings, wearing a blue harness.
Police have urged the dog's owner to come forward.
