Three teenagers have been arrested after an 18-year-old man was stabbed during a fight in Leeds city centre.
Officers were called to Kirkgate after reports of a fight at about 18:15 BST on Wednesday, according to West Yorkshire Police.
The 18-year-old was taken to hospital following the incident, but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, a force spokesperson said.
Two males, both 18, from Leeds were arrested on suspicion of offences including section 18 wounding, while a 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of affray, and all three remained in custody, they added.
Parts of Briggate and nearby streets were cordoned off for some time while police investigations were carried out.
Supt Matt Scott said: "I want to reassure residents all necessary inquiries are being carried out by detectives. Knife crime has absolutely no place in our communities."
Anyone who saw what happened, or had video footage of the incident, was asked to contact West Yorkshire Police.
