Five new artworks inspired by Wick’s heritage have been installed in the town to bring fresh life and colour to the area.

They are part of a project aimed at redesigning some of the lanes leading to Wick High Street.

The concepts behind the artworks, which have been plasma cut from long-lasting weathering steel, were developed through engagement with local residents.

The funding for the scheme came from Sustrans Scotland's Pocket Places Programme.
