A health and wellbeing charity is appealing for help from the local community to transform its new office space.

Simply Limitless, external, based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, is looking for traders, electricians and builders who can help develop its new premises within three months.

Chief executive Paul Raper said they were under a "time pressure" to get the building completed after the lease on the charity's current office ended.

"So what we're looking for is people that have professional skills that can support us to get this done very quickly," he said.

The charity, which provides therapy and emotional support for those struggling, is looking for people to "give time" to help them refurbish, paint and decorate rooms.

One volunteer, who was previously a service user, said it helped her when she "hit a bit of a brick wall" with family issues.

"It taught me to not concentrate on the past but concentrate with dealing with the future and looking a bit wider at the positives rather than the negatives," she told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

Mr Raper said he was was concerned by the amount of work that needed to be done to the new space, which does not yet have dividing walls or furniture.

He said it would take "less time" for people with professional ability to achieve the result they were looking for before they moved in.

"Therefore any extra time that is spent on that puts major depression on the finances of the charity, which will be more of a battle if we don't get this job done," he said.

"So the sooner we can get this job done, with the support of the community, the better it will be for everyone, particularly the people that we're trying to support."
