Suspected stabbing seriously injures man

A man is in a serious condition after a suspected stabbing, police have said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to reports of an altercation involving several men at about 21:30 BST on Sunday on Fore Street in Ivybridge, Devon.
The force said a man in his 50s was in a serious but stable condition with suspected stab wounds and another man in his 30s was being treated for lacerations.
A 35-year-old man from Ivybridge was in custody after being arrested on suspicion of affray and officers were searching for another suspect, police added.
A force spokesperson said a cordon which was set up on Fore Street had been removed, but locals could expect to see a further police presence as an investigation continued.
