A little piggy "that didn't stay at home" has been caught by police officers.

Cambridgeshire Police said its officers were flagged down in Wisbech, at about 08:15 GMT on Saturday, by a member of the public who discovered the swine in a front garden.

The force said they caught the "little chap" and took him to a nearby smallholding where he was looked after until his owner was found.

On social media, several people congratulated officers on "bringing home the bacon".
