Boy, 16, arrested after glass bottle attack

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested after another teenager was reportedly attacked with a glass bottle in Swindon.

Wiltshire Police said the victim was walking with a friend near to the Intel Building, on Pipers Way, between 19:00 and 20:00 BST on 23 May, when the incident happened.

The force said he was also hit in the head, and needed surgery for facial injuries.

The 16-year-old, arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, has since been released on bail.

Police want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have information about it.
