Three in hospital after crash on A75

Three people are in hospital after a two-car crash which shut the A75 for more than nine hours.

Emergency services were called out to the scene near to Barlae - east of Glenluce - at about 13:30 on Monday.

Two men and a woman were taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Inquiries are ongoing into the cause of the crash. The road reopened at about 23:00.
