Hunt for 'armed' teens after officer assaulted
Police responded to reports of fighting in the vicinity of Blanchard Close and Belvoir Close

A gang of teenagers said to be armed with large knives and machetes is being sought by police after an officer was assaulted in south-east London.
Six males, aged about 17 and 18, were reported to be "fighting and chasing each other" armed with the weapons, the Metropolitan Police said.
The incident happened at about 23:00 BST on Wednesday in the area around Blanchard Close and Belvoir Close in Mottingham, Bromley.
The teenagers were stopped, but officers were surrounded by a "large crowd who were hostile", police said. One male was arrested after allegedly spitting on an officer.
In a post on X, external, Bromley Borough MPS said armed and unarmed officers attended "due to the risk of large bladed weapons".
The post said the area was searched for weapons, but "none recovered and the crowd dispersed".
Police have appealed for information.
