Two in hospital after reports of fight at house

A man has been arrested after two people were seriously injured at a house in Stoke-on-Trent.
Police were called to reports of a fight at a property on Astle Place, Hanley about 17:15 BST on Monday.
A man and a woman suffered serious injuries, and both were later taken to hospital, after two ambulance crews were sent to the scene.
A 19-year-old, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, is being questioned on suspicion of assault by beating, said Staffordshire Police.
