Repair work to a damaged wall along a school footpath in Nottinghamshire is now under way.

The walkway in Main Road, Kirby-in-Ashfield, was closed in October last year.

Parents in the area have previously voiced their frustration over the closure of the footpath.

Ashfield District Council says work to make the wall safe is estimated to last until 23 August.
