Police searching for an elderly man missing since Friday have found a body.

Robin Haines, 84, was reported missing after he failed to return to his home in Little Shelford, a village just south of Cambridge.

Cambridgeshire Police said the body was discovered at Jesus Lock on the River Cam in Cambridge at about 11:30 BST. The death has not been treated as suspicious.

A formal identification has not yet taken place, but Mr Haines' family have been informed and thanked people for their support on social media, said police.
