Police have issued a fresh appeal for help in finding a man they believe is a significant witness in a murder investigation.

Officers investigating the death of Deavon Harrison, 46, have released an image of the man they want to speak to.

Mr Harrison was found at a house on Dunstall Hill, Wolverhampton, on December 30. A post-mortem examination revealed he had died as a result of a gunshot wound to his chest.

Three people charged with the murder of the father-of-seven have pleaded not guilty.

Detectives have appealed for the pictured man to get in touch with the force as the investigation continues.

Det Insp Michelle Cordell said: “Through our investigations into Deavon’s murder, we have identified a potential witness that we really need to speak to.

“I want to stress that this person is being treated as a witness and I would ask this person to get in touch."

The force has set up a dedicated web page as part of its investigation.
