City centre Ferrari crash 'could've killed someone'

A Ferrari driver who lost control and crashed while driving through a city centre could have killed someone, a councillor has said.
The sportscar was seen on CCTV mounting a kerb and crashing into bike racks and a concrete planter in Norwich on Sunday evening.
Norfolk Constabulary said no one was injured, and that "no action had been taken" in relation to the "single vehicle collision".
Catherine Rowett, a Green Party county councillor, said she was "quite surprised" there had been no arrests.
"When you look at the bike racks afterwards it looks as if they've all been flattened," she said.
"If you think a pedestrian could have been there… It's a lucky chance there wasn't."
CCTV footage showed a jogger running alongside the bike racks moments before the crash.
The force said officers were called to the crash on Rose Lane at 16:58 GMT.
A spokesperson said: "The road was closed whilst emergency services, including fire, attended the scene. No one was injured and the road reopened at 6.25pm."
The force said two people were in the car, and that the driver, a man in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of breaching court-imposed bail conditions which related to a separate case.
He was taken into custody for questioning.
Norfolk County Council, which installed the bike racks and concrete planters as part of improvement works in 2019, external, said it was investigating the collision.
"[We] are in the process of arranging repairs following the incident," a spokesperson said.
"At this stage we are unable to quote the cost of repair."
